Because February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention month, there will be a guest speaker in the library this Thursday to present on teen dating violence. Anyone who has had a boyfriend or girlfriend in the past has one now, or plans on having a significant other in the near future should attend this. Last year’s presentation was well attended and those that did now know what makes a healthy, non-abusive relationship. Sponsored by the Start Strong club.

7th, 8th, and 9th graders, if you are interested in playing summer baseball or softball, please pick up a flier from the front office or see Mrs. Hutton for more information and sign-up dates.

There will be a high school track kick-off meeting in the library on Friday at 9:40. Come if you are at all interested in participating in Spring Track

The junior class will be hosting a Mr. NHS pageant on March 12th.  Any High school boy interested in becoming Mr. NHS, there is a sign up sheet at the front office.

Topflight Tumbling in Caldwell is hosting a cheerleading camp this Friday and Saturday. Participants will learn tumbling, trampoline skills, a performance cheer, and a short dance routine. Coaches include a former BSU cheerleader and a veteran tumbling coach. Cost is $30. For more information contact Whitney Cheney at 965-5647 or see Mrs. Shelden.

Partner’s Club members:  Remember that we are having a bake sale during the basketball game tonight to continue the fundraising for Haiti. Bring your items to sell on Friday and sign up to help sell at the game.

All senior boy basketball players, you need to get your bio into Mrs. Peterson by today at noon.  Senior players and cheerleaders will be announced immediately at the end of the JV game before varsity warm-ups begin, so please have your parents check in with Mrs. Peterson before the end of the JV game.  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Peterson

Tonight our boys are playing Liberty Charter.  This is a big game for them and they need your help.    Please help us create a SEA OF BLUE and let Liberty know they have just entered PIRATE WATERS by wearing blue.  We need to be loud, LOUD,  LOUD and proud.
