Thanks to Mrs. Ireland, Mrs. Brock, The Krasowski family, and everyone else who helped put on a great Jr. High Dance. It went very well and good job students.

 

All valentine orders from the sophomore class need to be turned in before noon today. 

 

7th, 8th, and 9th graders, if you are interested in playing summer baseball or softball, please pick up a flier from the front office or see Mrs. Hutton for more information and sign-up dates.

 

Don’t forget to order your Valentine Goodies from the sophomore class.  They have stuffed animals and candy for sale, and will deliver them on Friday, Feb. 12th.  Order forms are available in the office, or talk with a sophomore.  Thanks for your support!

 

There will be a high school track kick-off meeting in the library on Friday at 9:40. Come if you are at all interested in participating in Spring Track 

 

Singing Valentine money is due to Richard Shelden by Wednesday @ 3:05. Get your orders in soon.

 

The class of 2014 is hosting a Jr. High dance on Wednesday February 10th from 6:00-7:30 in the hub. Only Notus Jr. High students and their parents are invited to attend. Cost for the dance is $2 per student. This is not a “date” dance. Come with your friends and have fun. Please see Mrs. Ireland if you have any questions.

 

Congratulations to Maria Cruz who has been accepted to both NW Nazarene University and College of Idaho. C of I also awarded her with a $7000 scholarship. Way to go Maria!!

 

The junior class will be hosting a Mr. NHS pageant on March 12th.  Any High school boy interested in becoming Mr. NHS, there is a sign up sheet at the front office. 

 

This Thursday, an ITT Tech will be here during lunch in the library to meet with students who are interested in learning more about ITT Tech’s programs. They offer training in electronics, web development, computer programming and networking, computer drafting and design, criminal justice, business, and health sciences.

Topflight Tumbling in Caldwell is hosting a cheerleading camp this Friday and Saturday. Participants will learn tumbling, trampoline skills, a performance cheer, and a short dance routine. Coaches include a former BSU cheerleader and a veteran tumbling coach. Cost is $30. For more information contact Whitney Cheney at 965-5647 or see Mrs. Shelden.

Partner’s Club members:  Remember that we are having a bake sale during the basketball game Friday night to continue the fundraising for Haiti. Bring your items to sell on Friday and sign up to help sell at the game.

All senior boy basketball players, you need to get your bio into Mrs. Peterson by Friday @ noon.  Senior players and cheerleaders will be announced immediately at the end of the JV game before varsity warm-ups begin, so please have your parents check in with Mrs. Peterson before the end of the JV game.  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Peterson

 

Friday night our boys are playing Liberty Charter.  This is a big game for them and they need our help.    Please help us create a SEA OF BLUE and let Liberty know they have just entered PIRATE WATERS by wearing blue.  We need to be loud, LOUD,  LOUD and proud.
