Jr. High & High School Announcements-

  

 

- Tip-off is this week. Coronation will be on Thursday between the JV and Varsity game. The dance will be on Friday between 8-11. The cost is $3 for single and $5 for couple. This is a Sadie Hawkins type dance, so couples should dress alike. See the office for out of district passes.

 

All students who submitted guest passes for the dance will meet with Mr. Merrill today to see if your date is approved.

 

 Game times for the game on Saturday vs. St. Ambrose are 4:30 for JV girls, 6:00 for Varsity girls, 7:30 for Varsity Boys. The school and gym are located at 6100 North Locus Grove in Meridian. If you take Hwy 20-26 and go past Meridian Rd, and turn Right on Locus Grove you will find the school. If you went as far as Eagle road you went too far. They do not have a JV boy’s team.

 

-All Princesses, queen and king candidates your bios are past due.

 

We will be taking pictures for all clubs and organizations and all spring sports on Wednesday January 27^th starting at 12:30.  This includes all basketball teams and any school club or organization.  There are order forms at the front office.

 

Notus Youth Council will be having a meeting for all existing members and anyone interested in becoming a member on Saturday January 23^rd from 11:00 to 12:00/12:30 at the Notus Fire Station.  If you will be attending you will need to sign up with Mrs. Ireland or Miss West by Friday afternoon.

- Teachers and Staff,

A new school board policy #4600 Volunteer Assistance now requires all volunteers complete an application packet, sign a confidentiality agreement, and in some cases be fingerprinted. As always volunteer coaching applicants also must be approved by the School Board. This all must be accomplished prior to the volunteer serving. If you have or intend to have a volunteer serve in any capacity, including a chaperone for a field trip, parent assistant in your class, etc… please come and get a packet from me detailing the new requirements. Again, these must be completed prior to the volunteer serving in any capacity.

 

-If you host a lunch meeting, please be sure to contact the lunch department and let them know early, at least one full day, to prevent over preparation of food.
