Deputy Chad Harrold and Deputy Jay Warren will be presenting defensive driving classes called Alive At 25 throughout 2010. The next class is scheduled to be held on February 13th from 9:00-1:30 at the Middleton Fire Station conference room. This classroom course is for any Idaho resident between the ages of 15 to 24, licensed or not. Please spread the word to anyone you know that falls into this age group.

Each class will be approximately 20-25 people and registration is completed through our State's Alive At 25 website located at idsafedriver.org

We will be trying to schedule a class each month throughout 2010. If our date doesn't work for your referral, Nampa City Police will also have dates scheduled located at the same website. The class is presented in a casual, relaxed atmosphere and student interaction is highly encouraged. Also, you may want to check with your insurance company for a possible young driver discount..?

Staff Announcements-

- Teachers and Staff,

A new school board policy #4600 Volunteer Assistance now requires all volunteers complete an application packet, sign a confidentiality agreement, and in some cases be fingerprinted. As always volunteer coaching applicants also must be approved by the School Board. This all must be accomplished prior to the volunteer serving. If you have or intend to have a volunteer serve in any capacity, including a chaperone for a field trip, parent assistant in your class, etc… please come and get a packet from me detailing the new requirements. Again, these must be completed prior to the volunteer serving in any capacity.
