Pirate Academy will be closed during seminar today

 

2010 – 2011 Notus FFA Officer applications are available on the High School Common Drive, applications are due to Mr. Tindall by 10:00 am Tuesday April 20th.

 

A representative from the Seattle Art Institute will be visiting Mrs. McMillin’s room during seminar today.  He will be discussing career opportunities for artists and also culinary arts degrees.  He will have scholarship information available to Jr’s and Sr’s….

 

There are still a few yearbooks left for sale, the cost is $26 – you can pay for them at the office.  Also, Miss Hatfield has the list of yearbooks that have already been ordered, check with her to make sure your name is on the list if you ordered and paid for one

 

Prom tickets are now available for purchase.  The cost is $15 each and seniors your date tickets are $10 each.  All tickets must be purchased by Friday afternoon.  There will be no tickets sold at the door.  Prom candidates for prom king are Blake Stish and Zane Childs and Prom Queen are Jessica Stotts and Megan Brock.  When you buy your tickets you will be asked to vote for Prom King and Queen.  Any questions, please ask Mrs. Peterson – Seniors you date tickets are only $10

 

Seniors, if you are still interested in applying for the Caldwell Board of Realtors scholarship, the deadline has been extended to April 16.  There’s still time to get that essay written!!

 

Junior class is selling Applebee’s Tickets for an All You Can Eat Breakfast of pancakes, sausage and drink.  Tickets are $7 each and the breakfast is on the morning on April 17th  from 7-10am.  So get your tickets, eat breakfast and get ready for prom. Applebees, Applebees, Apple, Apple, Applebees!!!!!~!!!!!!.

 

Any student who is preparing for a career in healthcare and would like to volunteer at West Valley Medical Center, see Mrs. Webberley. This is an excellent opportunity for students to acquire community service hours while exploring a career in the medical field. After 50 hours of service, volunteers are eligible to apply for a $1000 scholarship.

 

Any student between the ages of 15 and 18 who is interested in summer work at Yellowstone National Park should contact Mrs. Webberley for details.

 

Attention high school girls!  Need a dress for prom but don’t have the big bucks to buy one?  Cinderella’s Closet in Nampa will open April 1 for girls to borrow a formal dress for the prom.  They have over 400 dresses in sizes 0 to 24.  Cost is only $10.  See Miss Webberley for more details!

 

 

Drivers Training will begin May 27th and is limited to first come first served, information is at the office.
