Attention Seniors:  the application for the Class of 1957 scholarship is due tomorrow!

 

All 8th and 9th graders, make sure and turn in your permission slip to the COSSA Career Fair

to the office TODAY

 

There will be a bake sale at lunch today in the foyer by the gym for Junior High and High School students

Dunlap Hatchery in Caldwell needs part time help, Sundays from 8 – 5, lifting and taking care of animals is required.  There is info. at the office.

 

COSSA is offering a summer camp June 15 – 19, this is a great opportunity to experience each of their professional-technical programs – building trades, auto/diesel mechanics, welding, heath occupations, and engineering.  Camp is free and bus transportation is provided from the high school.  Friday is a fun day with a BBQ or pizza.  See Miss Webberley for a registration form.

 

Any student grade 9 – 11 who are interested in running for student body officer, please see Miss Hatfield for the descriptions and application…

 

If you have been given a summer school registration packet to enroll in Centerpoint, and you would like to attend please get the paperwork to Miss Webberley ASAP

 

Sign up for the Notus 3-on-3 Co-Ed Basketball Tournament. The tournament is May 8th here at Notus High School. The cost is $10 per person, no more than 5 per team. There is a Junior High, High School, and Adult division. All area schools are invited to join so let your friends know as well! There will be door prizes and T-shirts!! If you are interested in putting a team together or need more information, please talk to Mrs. Hutton.

 

There are still a few yearbooks left for sale, the cost is $26 – you can pay for them at the office.  Also, Miss Hatfield has the list of yearbooks that have already been ordered, check with her to make sure your name is on the list if you ordered and paid for one.

 

Drivers Training will begin May 27th and is limited to first come first served, information is at the office.

For patron information:

Given the financial budget issues facing Notus School District, the Board trustees have recommended the following fees for 2010 and beyond.

1) Notus School District intends on raising the activity fee for students $3.00 for the upcoming school year.

2) Notus School District intends on requesting a $25.00 per sport fee for any student participating in extracurricular activities in the Jr. and Sr. High School.

 

The School Board trustees invite patron participation on May 10th during the public hearing for notice of fee increase @ 6:00 p.m.
